This city in Turkiye to be fully demolished

February 14, Fineko/abc.az. The city of Nurdagi in the Turkish province of Gaziantep, which was seriously destroyed as a result of powerful earthquakes that rocked the country on 6 February 2023, will be completely demolished.

ABC.AZ reports that acting governor Osman Bilgin stated that Nurdagi, which is located 45 km west of Gaziantep, will be fully demolished and rebuilt. Previously, 40,000 people lived there.

According to Bilgin, the search and rescue operation in this locality continues. Recently, 150 bodies were found under the rubble of one house alone.

Search and rescue operations are ongoing under the rubble in the last 8 houses in Nurdagi," the official stressed.
