February 13, Fineko/abc.az. The legal entities and individuals of Azerbaijan carried out trade operations with their partners in 185 countries of the world, exported products to 121 countries and imported from 173 countries in 2022.
ABC.AZ was informed at the State Statistics Committee that country's foreign trade turnover in 2022 amounted to $56.2 bn, taking into account the statistically estimated value of exported crude oil and natural gas, which were registered by customs authorities, but the customs clearance of which was not fully completed.
$41.67 bn, or 74.1% of trade turnover, was the value of products exported from the country, and $14.539 bn (25.9%) was the value of imported products, which led to positive balance of $27.1 bn.
Compared with 2021, foreign trade turnover increased by 57.7% in actual prices and by 6.4% in real terms, including growth of exports by 8.7% and imports by 1.7%.
