Consumer price index rose in January

February 10, Fineko/abc.az. The consumer price index (inflation index) in January 2023 increased by 13.6% compared with January 2022, including for food, beverages and tobacco products by 17.5%, non-food products by 12.2%, paid services to the population by 9.7%.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the CPI in January 2023 grew by 1% compared with the previous month.

According to the Committee,  CPI for food, beverages and tobacco products in January 2023 increased by 1.2% compared with the previous month.
