Iranian specialists stop cyber attacks on central bank of Iran

January 6, Fineko/abc.az. The central bank of Iran has been subjected to a large cyber attack, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the telecommunications infrastructure company of Iran.

"The executive director of the Iranian Telecommunications Infrastructure company, Amir Lajevardi, informed about cyber attacks on the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran and on social networks Bale and Rubik. These attacks were repulsed," the company said.

It is emphasized that these days most of all cyberattacks from abroad were committed against banks and financial institutions, Internet service providers and communication infrastructures, but they were prevented.
