January 6, Fineko/abc.az. Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan - Minister of Investments & Foreign Trade Jamshid Khojayev held meetings with the leadership of the Alat Free Economic Zone and Baku International Trade Sea Port CJSC during his visit to Azerbaijan.
ABC.AZ reports that during the negotiations the prospects of establishing investment, transport and logistics cooperation based on the joint use of the resources and capabilities of the port and the Alat FEZ were discussed.
In particular, the issues of joint projects in the field of food production, leather and footwear, textiles and other products with high added value in demand in the territory of the zone, and organizing exports to the EU, CIS and other countries were discussed with Alat FEZ chairman Valeh Aleskerov.
