ABC.AZ reports that according to the December issue, Azerbaijan's total exports for Jan-Nov 2022 amounted to $36.3 bn, exports of the nonoil sector - $2.7 bn. Compared with Jan-Nov 2021, nonoil exports increased by 14%.
Over Jan-Nov 2022, exports of chemical industry products grew by 77.4%, exports of aluminum and products made from it by 23%, exports of ferrous metals and products made from them by 22.3%, and exports of tea by 43%.
The cost of joint exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products reached $802.4 million. For Jan-Nov 2022, the export of fruit and vegetable products made up 93.2% of farm products. The cost of agricultural products, which occupy significant place in the structure of nonoil-gas exports, grew by 33.5% versus Jan-Nov 2021.
In 2021, Azerbaijan's nonoil exports totaled $2.7 bn (47.2% more against 2020). According to the Ministry of Economy, by 2027 the volume of nonoil exports will increase up to $5 bn.
