December 23, Fineko/abc.az. For residents of the liberated territories, the import of raw materials will be exempt from customs duties for 10 years.

ABC.AZ reports that the draft amendments to the Law on Customs Tariff were submitted for discussion in the 3rd reading at today's Milli Majlis meeting.

The draft amendments envisage exemption from customs duties on import of raw materials and materials by branches of industrial activity by residents of territories exempt from occupation registered for VAT purposes for the 10-year period from 1 January 2023.

The list of these raw materials and materials will be approved by the relevant executive authority.

The draft amendments to the law were adopted in the 3rd reading after discussion.
