December 15, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijani government's exemption of rice imports from Pakistan from customs duties may increase the export of Pakistani rice to Azerbaijan by 10 times.
ABC.AZ reports that Khurram Javaid Bhattin, the president of the Pakistan-Azerbaijan Chamber of Economic Cooperation (PAKAZCHAM), said about this at an event within the business mission of the Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan to Azerbaijan.
"Government's decision to increase the trade turnover of the two countries. A similar event was held in March of this year. After today's event, bilateral meetings will take place, which will allow the parties to sign agreements and come to an understanding," he emphasized.
