December 14, Fineko/abc.az. "State Customs Committee’s main goals are to increase transparency of activities of customs authorities."
ABC.AZ reports that State Customs Committee’s first deputy chairman, acting chairman Shahin Bagirov made the relevant statement at a meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship.
"In addition, it is necessary to increase the satisfaction of entrepreneurs and customs officials, otherwise the tendency to corruption may increase. And this can interfere with transparency in business. Therefore, we, as in world practice, increase the salaries of customs officers," he said.
