December 05, Fineko/abc.az. In 2021, sales of arms companies included in Top 100 increased by 1.9%, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI). 

According to SIPRI report, after the growth the sales amounted to $592 bn.

Although the arms trade showed growth in 2020-2021, its dynamics are lower than before the pandemic, which was 3.7%. The COVID-19 pandemic has had serious negative impact on global supply chains.
American companies still lead the rating. Top 100 includes 40 American companies with total sales of $299 bn. Top 5 of leaders of the first hundred also consists of companies from the U.S.
