November 18, Fineko/abc.az. Imports of raw materials and materials necessary for production in the occupation-liberated territories will be exempt from VAT for 10 years.

ABC.AZ reports that the draft amendments to the Tax Code were submitted for discussion at today's Milli Majlis meeting.

According to the amendment, the import of raw materials and materials in the areas of production activity, the list of which is approved by the body established by the relevant executive authority, residents of the occupation- liberated territories are exempt from VAT for the 10-year period from 1 January 2023.

After discussion, the draft amendments were put to the vote and adopted in the 1st reading.
