November 17, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan imported 124,997 tons of vegetable oils for $221.6 million for Jan-Oct 2022.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Customs Committee, that import of vegetable oils for the past 10 months grew by $46.625 million or 26.6% in value terms and decreased by 138 tons or 0.1% in quantitative terms against Jan-Oct 2021.

Thus, 138 tons less vegetable oils were purchased from abroad for more than $47 million in foreign currency.

The reason is the rise in prices at the world market.
