November 3, Fineko/abc.az. VAT for imports in Azerbaijan is payable by customs authorities to the State Budget within 1 banking day starting from 1 January 2023.

ABC.AZ reports that this was reflected in the proposed amendment to the Tax Code, discussed at today’s meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship.

The Code currently in force does not contain requirements for payment deadlines.
