November 1, Fineko/abc.az. This September’s supplies of goods from Turkey to Russia exceeded the monthly record in monetary terms and reached $1.15 bn.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the official Statistics Institute of Turkey. It was noted that this is 21% more than in August ($948 million), and 2.3-fold more than in September 2021 ($504 million).

In general, Turkey's exports to Russia in February grew by about 2.4 times versus previous figures after the West imposed tough sanctions against Russia (in 2021, Turkey's exports to Russia averaged $481 million per month).

It should be noted that Turkey is the only NATO country that has not joined the sanctions against the Russian Federation.
