October 27, Fineko/abc.az. The import of products to Azerbaijan that do not have markings in Azerbaijani language will be prevented.
ABC.AZ reports that Food Safety Agency’s (AQTA) chairman Goshgar Tahmazli stated about this at a press conference.
"There are a number of products on which there is no information in the Azerbaijani language when importing, Azerbaijani consumers cannot get information about the composition, production date, shelf life, as well as product characteristics. Therefore, the products imported into the territory of Azerbaijan must have information in the Azerbaijani language, otherwise their import and circulation will not be allowed," Tahmazli said.
