October 24, Fineko/abc.az. Reconstruction of the deformed section of Baku-Guba-Russia highway in Guba-Baku direction continues.

ABC.AZ reports that as part of the reconstruction, the old road surface was dug out, and new roadbed was built. After that, the laying of asphalt concrete pavement began. Currently, the main asphalting works are ongoing on 77-87 km of Baku-Guba road.

According to the executors of works, as part of the repair, a thicker asphalt pavement is laid on the road. This will prevent its rapid failure. This section will be ready by the end of November. For the safety of vehicles on the road under repair, an additional 3 m flank is also being created. After asphalting works, road signs will be installed and markings will be made. The State Agency of Highways of Azerbaijan reports that in general, repair work on the deformed section of Baku-Guba road with length of 66 km will be finished until the end of this year.
