October 20, Fineko/abc.az. A ceremony to inaugurate the Zangilan International Airport has been held today.

ABC.AZ reports that President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkiye attended the opening ceremony.

Azerbaijani and Turkish presidents cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the airport. The symbolic keys of the Zangilan Airport were handed over to the presidents.

The heads of state viewed conditions created at the airport.

Jahangir Asgarov, the president of Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), informed both heads of state about the work done.
