October 19, Fineko/abc.az. The Shukurbeyli-Jabrail section of the Shukurbeyli-Jabrail-Hadrut highway with length of 14.2 km has been commissioned today.

ABC.AZ reports that President Ilham Aliyev took part in the event on this occasion.

Chairman of board of the Azerbaijan Highway State Agency Saleh Mammadov informed the head of state of the technical indicators of the Shukurbayli-Jabrayil-Hadrut highway and the work done.

The four-lane highway is 39.7km in length and 14m in width.

The construction of six bridges on the highway was completed.

45 circular drainage pipes, 49 redundant transition pipes, 25 rectangular drainage pipes, 7 animal crossings were also built along the road, 366 m concrete, 1,620 m stone retaining walls were built, 18 bus stops were installed.

This road was built within the reconstruction and restoration project of the territories liberated from occupation, approved by the presidential decree from April 29, 2021.
