October 14, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2022, the consumer price index (inflation indicator) increased by 13.4% compared with Jan-Sept 2021, including for foods, beverages and tobacco products by 19.3%, nonfoods by 7.6%, paid services to the population by 10.2%.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Statistics Committee that this September the CPI grew by 3.1% compared with the previous month and by 15.6% against September 2021.

This September’s CPI for foods, beverages and tobacco grew by 3.4% versus the previous month and by 21.8% against September 2021.

In September 2022, compared with the previous month, an increase was observed on the prices of flour, rice, pasta, beef, lamb and chicken meat, sausages, fresh fish, condensed milk, cottage cheese, sour cream, cheese, eggs, corn oil, table margarine, bananas, lemons, cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage, pepper, eggplant, beans, potatoes, garlic, lentils, sugar and granulated sugar, sweets, tea, Coca-Cola drink, beer.

And the decline was mainly observed on the prices of apples, pears, grapes, pumpkin, onions.

There were no significant changes in prices for other foods.
