October 7, Fineko/abc.az. The Ombudsman in Azerbaijan will have compulsory insurance in the amount of a 5-year official salary.

ABC.AZ reports that in this regard, the amendments are being made to the Constitutional Law on the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of Azerbaijan Republic.

With the change, a new paragraph (16.6-1) is added to the law. According to the new paragraph, the commissioner will have compulsory insurance in the amount of a 5-year official salary.

It should be noted that the Ombudsman of Azerbaijan is Sabina Aliyeva.
