September 23, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan exempts tobacco products from the state duty for mandatory labeling.

ABC.AZ reports that the draft amendments to the Law on State Duty were submitted for discussion in the 1st reading at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship.

The draft proposes to exempt manufacturers and importers of tobacco products from paying state duty for mandatory labeling of these products within one month from the date of receipt of the notification of the State Tax Service under the Economy Ministry on connection to the information system of the service.

This period can be extended up to 5 times, on the condition that it does not exceed one month.
