September 19, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan imported 99,314 tons of vegetable oils for $172.105 million for Jan-Aug 2022 (versus 101,988 tons for $140.67 million for Jan-Aug 2021).

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee that imports of vegetable oils decreased in quantitative terms by 2,674 tons or 2.6%, and grew in value terms by $31.4 million or 22.3%.

The increase in the import of oils in value terms is associated with their rise in price.
