September 15, Fineko/abc.az. The foreign trade turnover for the first 6 months of 2022 reached $24.8 bn.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that the surplus in the oil & gas sector in the amount of $16.4 bn for the reported term covered the deficit in the nonoil sector in the amount of $3.4 bn.

As a result, surplus of $13 bn was formed in the foreign trade balance for Jan-Jul.

In the 1st half of 2022, Azerbaijan had trade relations with 167 countries of the world. 9.9% of foreign trade accounts for CIS member countries and 90.1% for other foreign countries.
