September 1, Fineko/abc.az. Early presidential elections will be held in Kazakhstan.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the statement of Kazakh President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev.

He added that the elections will be held in the fall. Tokayev himself will also run for election.

"I recommend limiting the term of office of the president to one term of 7 years. But re-election is prohibited," he added.

The last presidential elections in Kazakhstan were held in 2019.
