During January-June 2022, Azerbaijan imported 467,758 units of telephone sets for mobile or other wireless communications in the amount of $92,649,000 (a decrease of 26%), ABC.AZ reports citing the government. According to the information, this is 42.6% less than in the same period last year.
The main part of imported telephone sets - 270,369 units in the amount of $53,434,700 - was brought from China, 144, 899 units in the amount of $27,112,620 from Vietnam, 51,915 units in the amount of $11,472,000 from India. For 6 months of this year, Azerbaijan imported 111,401 smartphones worth $23,312,670, including from China (66,506 units for the amount of $13,007,830), Vietnam (3 576 units for the amount of $8,369,000) and India (8,315 units for the amount of $931,000).
