August 23, Fineko/abc.az. The United States warned Turkish businesses against working with sanctioned Russian institutions and individuals.

ABC.AZ reports, citing The Wall Street Journal, that in a letter to the American Chamber of Commerce in Turkiye, Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Wally Adeyemo said that Turkish companies were at risk of coming under US sanctions if they did business with sanctioned Russian individuals.

A WSJ source said the same letter was also sent to TUSIAD.

In February, the United States declared sanctions against Russian companies and individuals after Russia invaded Ukraine.
