August 18, Fineko/abc.az. Deputy Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Azerbaijan Heiko Schwartz and representatives of the embassy visited the main center of ground satellite control "Azercosmos".
ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport that during the meeting the guests were informed about the activities of Azercosmos, Azerbaijan's satellite projects, projects implemented through telecommunications and Earth remote sensing satellites, plans for further development.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on cooperation with German companies in the development of the space industry in the country. The parties discussed the development of educational programs for the training of specialists in the space sector, including issues of scientific research.
